Pitocin and epidural
lots of pain nursing – has wounds on nipples. when baby comes off the breast the nipple is smushed and there is a line of a wound
she has been supplementing formula after every feed because she feels like he is still hungry. I explained that she needs to make sure that he is actually feeding on the breast and not just sleeping on the breast and then wont need to supplement. I had hand expressed to make sure she had milk nd she does.
we tried football position because baby has a recessed lower jaw and it was more comfortable for her. She managed to latch baby on her own as well and was much happier with less pain. I explained breastfeeding management and also gave her a few numbers of consultants to call after
