mom wanted help latching baby properly so it doesn't hurt – baby's mouth doesn't open wide enough
mom was using a nipple shield for about 2.5 weeks. She says she does this after every delivery until the pain subsides. Never previous issue relatching after using the shield.
just showed her how to get a deeper latch and she did it herself too
Also saw that she had a LOT of milk. she only nurses one side per feed and only for about 5 minutes and he is satiated for 2.5 hours and gaining good weight.but told her to pump to relieve some of the slight engorgement
