mom is not allowed to nurse or feed the baby any milk. baby is just on IV fluids
I told her to start expressing every 2-3 hours and save it for the baby and to help build up supply
I didn't understand completely the next question she had – she said she had something on her nipple (she had a few on her body that the dermatologist burned off but accidentally left the one on the nipple) she said she is worried about nursing from that side anyways. I told her in the meantime to pump. Pagiyah told her that she may not be able to give the baby milk from that side. I asked to see it and I honestly didn't see anything strange on the nipple. I told her before she starts throwing away milk to store it and write on it which breast it came from until she asks a doctor. I hope that was an okay answer especially since it was with words I didn't understand. I think she may have been referring to a wart.
