1st baby born at 22 weeks and not viable for life
second baby c/s at 34 weeks
high risk pregnancy
this pregnancy delivered now 28 weeks after water broke and emergency c/section
one day old
1.200kg birthweight
showed mom how to hand express milk and be patient because it will take time
I did it for her and then she did it too
every 2-3 hours to express ok to have a 4-5 hour break at night
also told her she can pump on low setting to help stimulate breast but not to actually bring out the colostrum just yet in a pump
she only had a couple of drops
I was the first consultant to see her but told her to make sure to speak with a lactation consultant from the pagiyah
