at 34 weeks water broke a little
induced and had epidural and vacuum at 37 weeks
baby had jaundice and under lights
now just removed from lights and weighs 2.2kg
able to pump 20cc in 40min so supplement after with about 20cc materna
successfully got baby to latch on both sides and non latched baby as well
prior to my coming in baby was latching on the areola and mom couldn't tell the difference
baby was struggling to open his mouth wide enough
explained some exercises she can do with her finger as well
mom actually felt this was the first time baby was actually latched and sucking milk
took her to pump and she got 20cc in about 20 min
told mom to continue pumping and giving to baby to ensure baby is actually getting fed
and to also try to latch baby on her breast the same way I showed her
