mom says every kid she nurses always hurts for the whole time she nurses and doesn't really ever get better
she nursed in delivery room and is healthy otherwise
I showed her a deeper latch
baby was sucking very well even while sleeping on her.
Baby was only about 6 hours old by the time I saw her.
I wanted to show mom more comfortable positions to nurse in because she said the last kid she nursed she had tremendous back pain from it but she really didn't want to move today from the pain and from the stitches. I told her when she is up for it to look into side lying position or laid back position and we went over breastfeeding management
