water broke and baby was vacuum
She wasn't nursing often enough – allowing nurses to give formula whenever. I explained if she wants to exclusively nurse then she must do so now. But she was worried about not having enough milk so was just not feeding the baby from the breast but milk comes out pretty easily when squeezed.
She has pain on right breast but easier for baby to latch on the right side
inverted nipples
baby has good suck but lower recessed jaw
on the left breast we tried football and she said she didn't really notice a difference but that baby keeps coming off the breast
when baby is nursing from the right side he can stay there for a while and its easier. and that inverted nipple comes out a bit more. She said she would rather put exclusively (in the meantime) other left side and nurse exclusively on the right. Thats what she would rather – and to try and see if in a few weeks she can try again to latch him on the other side.
baby looked to have jaundice and as I was leaving they asked to check him because it seemed to the nurses also
so I went over breastfeeding management and told her that if baby really has jaundice to make sure to feed on demand
She was able to latch baby on her own and happy I was able to help
Also gave her my paper in arabic and she said it was good/helpful
