mom has pain on nipples- after a feed they come out flattened
there is burning pain on initial latch
baby has a forward but high upper palate and a hard time sucking – basically unable to open his mouth wide enough
also super sleepy

was engorged so explained that it might be hard to get a good deep latch now
mom really just wanted to nurse baby and so after nursing we. would go pump
tried football pose but was still painful
suggested osteopath
she finished nursing baby and then after we pumped about 70cc and she could still have pumped more
told her to pump to relieve engorgement after each feed but to make sure baby is truly getting a full feed which he really was gulping a lot just mostly on the nipple
