gives materna before each nursing session to help baby latch. often baby screams and won't latch well. So baby takes full bottle of materna each time and then not much from breast
I had difficulty getting baby to latch as well. Nipples were large but should have been fine for the baby. Baby obviously used to bottles.
Told mom to work on building milk supply while she feeds baby either materna or her milk. Baby had about 60cc pumped milk and then about 30cc formula.

baby was crying during the pumping and nurses gave an additional 20cc
We went to pump and she pumped about 150cc from both breasts
I told mom to continue pumping every 2-3 hours and giving bottles of her milk for now and call a consultant to help return baby to breast soon
